The Western Invitational Chess Camp is a unique opportunity for intense instruction from very experienced instructors with talented scholastic players and adults. This is the strongest chess camp in the U.S. The typical lineup of coaches is 3-4 GM’s, a few IM’s and FM’s.

Players are divided into groups based on rating and age for five (5) full days of chess instruction. Typical top group is 2100+.

Following the camp there is an adult tournament called the Ye Olde Pueblo. Family members are welcome to accompany camp participants, especially with younger students. Hotel room sharing is available. While the camp will be quite intensive with approximately 7 hours of chess instruction daily, additional chess events and non-chess activities are also planned.

If you have any questions about the camp, contact contact Robby Adamson (Camp Director).
